RECREATION COMMISSION
MEETING, March 4, 1982
The meeting was called to Order at 7140 with the following
present 1 Hugh J. Maurer, Chairman, Joseph Ennesssr, Joseph
Mastroianni and Bill Wood.
Attending the meeting wers two representatives from the
Sunday Morning Mens Softball League Mr. Ben Murello and Mr. Jim
Janos.

They came to obtain permission to use the fields at
Robinson Lane on Sunday Mornings from 9 to 12. They mentioned
that they realize thers were problems of conduct last year and
assured us that they took steps to ban the problem team for 1
year and that they were in the process of reorganizing.
After a discussion regarding the conduct and 'various
problems of past years, it was decided that a list of the require-
ments be forwarded to them. Mr. Joseph Ennesser willwwrite up
these requirements and forward them after which we will meet again
to make sure everything is in agreement.

to get the letter sent to the league.

Mr. Michael D~Matteo also joined us and discussed beautifica-
tion of Parks. After Mr. Maurer suggested that we were looking for
flowers at the entrances, Mr. DeMatteo suggested the best idea would
be to go around and draw up plans in a couple of weeks when the
weather is better.
Mr. Mastroianni said he discussed with Mr. Evangeliste about
the Boccie Court.
All further matters were tabled since we did not have a
quorum. The next meeting was set for March 24, 1982.
