A memo has been sent to the Planning Board regarding the placement of
a 40' trailer body at Rockingham but to date no reply has been received. Mr. Holt,

ROBINSON LANE
Mr. Wood reported that the new field and R-2 have been cut but there is
no sign of them raising R-2. Mr. Wood will contact Mr. Fisher regarding this.
CASTLE POINT
Mr. Vorndran mentioned that the new road has been cut at Castle Point
but that they couldn't go too far down because of the garbage. Mr. Holt mentioned
that Supervisor Paino advised him that test holes have been done there.
Mr. Holt is meeting with the representative from the Federal Government
on Thursday to go over the site. Mr. Wood suggested that Mr. Vorndran place a
couple of tables on the high section where we want to place the picnic area. It was
suggested that we mark off one field now and we will have to make the second one
later. There is no problem with the top one and we still have to cut out the lower
field. It is hoped that we can get this done and put in the backstop in the Spring.
We will contact A-I to fix the holes in the fence and to fix the gate.
SCHLATHAUS PARK
Mr. Holt mentioned that a gentleman was given 25 hours community
service work for a DWI and Mrs. Paino has suggested that he put a spindle style rail
across the top and bottom of the stage. He will also put a rail on the stairs.
At the present time only a portion of the rail is up and it is hoped that it
would be finished by the Halloween Party.
Mr. Reimer supplied copies of the Summer Recreation Personnel Manuel
and the 1989 Summer Playground report. It was suggested that the members review
them and bring back any additions or deletions to the November meeting. After
any corrections are made the manuel will be bound and be ready for distribution
[or Summer Personnel. Mr. Reimer mentioned that Miss Slacin had done an
excellent job in preparing this manuel and it was suggested that a letter be sent
to her thanking her for her effort.
Golf Lessons are still in progress at Robinson Lane. The sign up was
a little light this time so if anyone is interested they can still attend.
A resume has been received from Steven Miller, Principal of the
Sheafe Road Elementary School. This will be placed on file with the resume which
was already received from Mr. Farrell

HALLOWEEN PARTY
Mr. Reimer mentioned that the Halloween Party was pretty well
organized and that he had spoken to Mrs. Korz at School. The witches outfits
have been purchased and Mrs. Korz will order the donuts, cider and decorations
from Meadowbrook on Monday.
TENNIS COURTS
The vendors have been obtained to do the work on the Tennis Courts
and now all we have to do is coordinate them and get the paper work together.
We will probably have to close the courts for at least a week. It was also
suggested that we should ask the players to loosen the nets after they are
finished playing.
The meeting was closed at 9:00 on a motion by Mr. Wood seconded by
Mr. Mastroianni.
