The breakdown of bid is as follows Avello Brothers Contractors Inc. $125, 725.00 Sport-Tech Construction $128, 954.00 Sun-Up Enterprises, Inc. $129, 380.00 This office has completed the review of the bid proposals. The apparent low bidder is Avello Brothers Contractors Inc. of Poughkeepsie, NY with a bid of $125,725.00. Morris Associates has worked with Avello Brothers Contractors Inc. on numerous projects (including the Martz Field tennis court reconstruction in 2009) and has found their work to be acceptable. It is our opinion that Avello Brothers Contractors Inc. is qualified to perform the proposed work required for this project. All portions of the bid prepared by Avello Brothers Contractors Inc. appear to have been correctly executed. Based on -the foregoing, this office recommends award of the contract for the Martz Field East Tennis Court Reconstruction project to Avello Brothers Contractors Inc.
