Jacobson, to approve the minutes as read. Mr. Koehler Abstained.
Motion Unanimously Carried
Mr. Koffsky inserted a welcome to the new Board member,
Mr. Frederick Koehler, and congratulated Mr. Jacobson on the
new addition to his family.
Mr. L'Archevesque asked Mr. Ludewig if he had been out
to inspect the site of Einar Chrystie (variance was denied at
the last meeting). Mr. Ludewig stated that it was not necessary
as Mr. Chrystie submitted a new plan.
Public Hearing # 1 - Appeal # 38 - at the request of
Charles E. Claydon seeking an 8 -ft. variance of the sideyard
regulations to permit him to construct a residence addition.
Mr. Claydon was present for his appeal and came before the
Board. He explained that there is a hardship involved because
they need the extra bedroom, and because of the characteristics
of his property, it cannot be placed anywhere else on the
property.
Public Hearing # 2 - Appeal # 39 - at the request of
Alexander and Jane De Robertis seeking a 6 -ft. variance of
the sideyard regulations to permit them to construct a garage
addition to their residence. Mr. De Robertis was present for
his appeal. He explained that there is hardship involved
because on the opposite sideyard there is a steep slope which
would not permit him to build, and where the garage is planned,
there is a large oak tree.
With reference to Appeal # 38 - A motion was made by
Robert L'Archevesque, seconded by Frederick Koehler, that the
Zoning Board of Appeals -2- October 12, 1965
requested 8 -ft. variance be granted to Charles E. Claydon on
the grounds that a hardship would be imposed on Mr. Claydon
if this request were denied. Motion Unanimously Carried
With reference to Appeal # 39 - A motion was made by
Frederick Koehler, seconded by Richard Jacobson, that the
requested 6 -ft. variance be granted to Alexander & Jane
De Robertis on the grounds that a hardship would be imposed
if it were not granted. Motion Unanimously Carried
The meeting adjourned at 800 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Susan J. Pike, Secretary
