Appeal #18 - Mr. Hanzi, who was represented by an attorner,
Mr. Brenner, who requested a variance under Sect. 422 of the
Zoning Ordinance.
Mr. Brenner presented a surveyors map showing property lines
and also mentioned that Pyr. Hanzi was agreeable to providing
an evergreen screening on the short property side. Mr. L'Archevesque
pointed out that Mr. Hanzi's building permit, 64-310 dated 3-25-64
approved a 60' housewthat Mr. Hanzi has now build a 6818" house.
The status of the project is that the foundation measuring 4818"
is now in but the garage measuring 4818" was not yet in. No
witnesses appeared in behalf of Mr. Hanzi.
Mr. & Mrs. Olson, neighbors of Mr. Hanzi's project appeared to
speak against the variance. Mr. & Mrs. Olson mentioned that they
had questioned Hanzi's surveyors measurements and therefore
called Mr. Ludewig. In addition, they had their property surveyed
which proved that Mr. Hanzi was in error concerning his sideyard
lines. The Olsone questioned the location of the septic system
in relation to their property. There appeared to be no problem.
The Olsons were agreeable to a variance if appropriate screening
was provided by Mr. Hanzi.
