Motion to open the public hearing. Second the motion. All present voted aye. Are the mailings all in order? Yes. I would like to replace an old shed with a new larger one. Where is this new shed going? In the same spot. Some questions have come up as to the location and looking at the survey it's hard to tell where it will be. I only need 8 feet. I need to see the shed put on this map and signed by your engineer. Page 3 Minutes of May 11, 2004 Yourself and two other members were out there. We just need a variance for 8 feet to the rear. There was a map in the building department that showed the last shed. Is there anyone in the audience with any comments? Karen Swanson, 5 Russett Lane. I'm here to just give a good word in about my neighbor's. Ms. Martin is making an effort to clean up the property and I would like to see the shed built. I did a site visit also and you can't really see the property lines well. I looked here also and my intention was to see where the shed was but not based on the property lines but what affect it would be on the neighborhood. Do you know where the true lines are? Yes I found the stakes but it is back in the woods. Then there is a front stake. This shed is over 200 sf. Is there a file for the other one? Yes I saw it when I came in. When was the other shed taken down? About 6 months ago. It must be behind the trees on that aerial photo. If the other shed was smaller, 8 X 10 feet, then it only needed 10 feet offthe line to the side and the rear. The new structure being larger would need to have a larger setback from the rear and the side. We would need something on the map to be specific as to the location. Are there any other comments from the public? Hearing none. The work seems to be of the utmost quality. Do you know what you have to do? \.- ~ ~ .. Town of Wappinger Zoning Board of Appeals Page 4 Minutes of May 11,2004 Mr. Pistolesi: y es. You want me to go and spend more money. I just as soon dig it up. You want me to get an engineer now. I'll just put it in the middle of the yard. Ms. Martin: My neighbor has a garage just 8 feet offmy property. He didn't get a vanance. Mr. Prager: We can't even talk about your neighbor. Mr. Fanuele: We can adjourn the meeting to give you time to get us information. The job is good but there is a question to the location. Mr. Pistolesi: The sides are fine only the land locked piece is in question. Mr. Fanuele: I think we should adjourn the public hearing to June 8th as long as you consent to that. Ms. Martin: I do consent. Mr. Fanuele: Mr. Prager: Vote: Motion to adjourn the public hearing to June 8th, 2004. Second the motion. All present voted aye.
