signalized roundabout at the intersection of Route 9, Bridge Road and the entrance
to Look Park. Although the project is entirely within City property, coordination was
required with various State and Federal agencies to facilitate transfer of property from
Look Park to the City of Northampton. Design also required development of Functional
Design Report (FDR) and substantial coordination with MassDOT-Boston and District
due to the fact this was the first roundabout constructed by MassDOT in Western
Massachusetts.
Pro essional Re stration W°rcester City Hall in Worcester, Massachusetts. Developed final plans, special provi-
~ sions and construction estimate for specific improvements surrounding City Hall as
Professional Engineer: part of amulti-phased improvement project initiated by the City using TEA funding.
Project required coordination and approvals from the Executive Office of Transportation
Massachusetts No. 39312 (EOT) cultural and ADA/AAB divisions.
Connecticut No. 0026350 Federal Street/Main Street/Bridge Street in Montague, Massachusetts. The project
included reconstruction of a portion of downtown Millers Falls that included new curb
New Hampshire No. 10979 and sidewalks, street lighting, minor drainage improvements, a new retaining wall,
new concrete/brick pavers, new plantings and pedestrian and safety improvements.

Main Street in Sterling, Massachusetts. This project involved the reconstruction of
Rhode Island No. 7683 existing and installation of new sidewalks and curb along a portion of Main Street.
Florida No. 69467 The design included improvements to the Library parking lot to increase parking and
facilitate traffic flow as well as various geometric improvements. The project also re-

Professional Societies
Infrastructure and Streetscape Improvements in Rochester, New Hampshire. Design
American Society of Civil Engineers and preparation of plans for the reconstruction of 6 miles of roads in the Gonic and
Massachusetts Highway Association East Rochester areas including full depth reclamation, major drainage improvements
Norfolk-Bristol-Middlesex Highway and sidewalks. Design also including geometric and safety improvements at the inter-
Association section of Church Street and Route 125 that required coordination with and approval
Boston Society of Civil Engineers from NHDOT.
Section
Maple Street in West Boylston, Massachusetts. Design involved reconstruction of 1.5
miles of roadway along Maple Street. The project required coordination with the local
Conservation Commission to mitigate wetland impacts and to obtain permanent and
temporary easements (including rights-of-entries) from project abutters. Design also
involved pavement widening and various geometric, drainage and safety improvements.
Providence Road (Route 122) Signalization in Grafton, Massachusetts. Design of trans-
portation improvements at the intersection of Providence Road (Route 122) and Mill-
bury Street in the Town of Grafton. Prepared and submitted Functional Design Report
(FDR) to MassDOT. Design also included geometric improvements, roadway widening
and installation of a temporary signal until the permanent signals could be installed.

Feasibility Study. The project involved assessing the needs of the DPW and developing

parcel off of Spofford Road. Work included interviewing key DPW staff, preparing a
space needs assessment, preparing building and site alternatives, and preparing a
conceptual cost estimate for the preferred alternative.
New Consolidated DPW Facility, Chatham, Massachusetts: Project Manager responsible
for a feasibility study, the final design, and construction administration services for a new
consolidated facility for the Chatham DPW. Services included performing a feasibility
study to identify the current and future needs of the DPW. Upon receiving approval
from the Town, final design documents were prepared for the new consolidated facil-
ity. Work included the design of an administration area, employee facilities, a vehicle
maintenance facility, department workshops, a vehicle storage area, and a wash bay.
Site Evaluation for a Consolidated DPW Facility, Chelmsford, Massachusetts: Project
Manager responsible for a feasibility study and site selection efforts for a new
consolidated DPW facility. Work included performing a space needs assessment and
site analyses and developing conceptual plans and estimates. Work also included
developing preliminary floor plans, site plans, and building elevations for the selected
site.
