2007-0812007-81 Resolution to Authorize Purchase Orders for the Town Recreation Department and for Supervisor to Sign the Contracts At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 14t", 2007. The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the following were present: PRESENT: Supervisor - Joseph Ruggiero Councilmembers - William H. Beale Vincent F. Bettina Joseph P. Paoloni Maureen McCarthy ABSENT: The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Bettina and seconded by Councilwoman McCarthy. WHEREAS, the Recreation Committee has requested three purchase orders for tick Spraying for May, June/July, and September/October, and WHEREAS, the Recreation Commission received bids as follows: Company Bid Total not to exceed N.Y. Tick Control $14,600.01 Bug Busters Pest Control $14,675.00 Craig Thomas Pest Control $16,200.00 WHEREAS, The lowest bidder for tick spraying is N.Y. Tick Control at a cost not to exceed Fourteen Thousand Six Hundred and 01/100 ($14,600.01) NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein. 2. Three purchase orders are hereby authorized in the amount of Four Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty -Six Dollars and 67/100 ($4,866.67) with the total not to exceed Fourteen Thousand Six Hundred Dollars and 01/100 ($14,600.01) payable to N.Y. Tick Control, payable from Account A-7110.43 3. Supervisor Joseph Ruggiero is hereby authorized and directed to sign on behalf of the Town the contract between the Town of Wappinger and N.Y.
