Resolution to Authorize a Closing of Maxwell Place for a Block Party
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 14th,
2007.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Joseph Ruggiero
Councilmembers - William H. Beale
Vincent F. Bettina
Joseph P. Paoloni
Maureen McCarthy
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilwoman McCarthy and seconded by
Councilman Paoloni.
WHEREAS, a request has been made by a Debra Brennan, in a letter hereby attached, to
close Maxwell Place for a block party to be held on August 4th, 2007, between the hours of 1:00
p.m. through 9:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Highway Superintendent, Graham Foster, has
reviewed and supports the closing of Maxwell Place for the block party on August 4th, 2007,
between the hours of 1:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m., with the exception of emergency and local
traffic.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set
forth and adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby authorizes the closing of Maxwell Place for the block
party on August 4th, 2007, between the hours of 1:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m., with
the exception of emergency traffic, pursuant to the request from Debra Brennan,
attached hereto, and the authorization from the Town of Wappinger Highway
Superintendent, Graham Foster.

The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
