BEALE VINCENT BETTINA MAUREEN MCCARTHY JOSEPH P. PAOLONI The Recreation Department requested four (4) much needed items in our 2007 plan. Hopefully they will be available to us soon. They are: 1. A four-wheel-drive pick-up truck 2. Large trailer 3. A four-wheel-drive mower 4. Small flexible mower (to cut infields) New Truck We have been doing our best to keep our equipment serviceable. Our truck inventory has two vehicles either 20 -years -old or approaching that. A great deal of time is spent servicing these vehicles. This is not practical or time efficient. Trailer We have two (2) trailers that are used constantly. One of these is not in good shape, despite our continual repairs. I believe this to be a safety issue. Four-wheel-drive Mower We are just about into the season where the need to cut grass at least twice a week is upon us. We have also increased the mowing acreage with the addition of Carnwath. It is our hope to be able to keep cutting more of Carnwath. Small flexible Mower r This small mower will be used mainly to care for baseball infields or other tight areas to be cut. With this mower available, it can be stored at Robinson Lane and Little League could use it to cut the infields in an emergency. This would aid us and for this flexibility Little League would monitor the use of the lighted fields. This would save $4,600. Our estimated costs fpr these items bmitted in the plan are as follows: 1. Truck $ 00 2. Trailer 3,000.00 3. 4 -wheel drive mower $24 4. Small mower 7,500.00 Your assistance would be appreciated.
