Resolution Accepting Alex Reese Donation for Carnwath Farms
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on July 19th, 2007.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilwoman McCarthy and seconded by
Councilman Beale.
WHEREAS, by letter dated June 27t", 2007, Lazard Asset Management LLC, a New York company
located at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, New York, New York, has sent two (2) checks in the amount of Fifteen
Thousand Dollars and 00/100 ($15,000.00) each, totaling Thirty Thousand Dollars and 00/100 ($30,000.00),
which were donated to the Town to go towards Carnwath Farms; and
WHEREAS, one check for Fifteen Thousand Dollars and 00/100 ($15,000.00) is a gift from The
Reese Charitable Lead Trust on behalf of the trustees, Mrs. Frances Olivieri and Mr. George Reese; and
WHEREAS, the second check for Fifteen Thousand Dollars and 00/100 ($15,000.00) is a gift from
Mr. Alexander Reese; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has agreed to accept the monetary donation
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and
adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby conditionally agrees to accept the gift of Thirty Thousand Dollars
and 00/100 ($30,000.00) to be placed in the Capital Fund and to be used towards the rehabilitation of the
first floor in the mansion located at Carnwath Farms.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
