2007-2312007-231 �hw Resolution Authorizing Public Hearings to Hear Objections to the Proposed Budgets for the Financing of Certain Special Improvement Districts and Special Improvement Areas as Well as Establishing the Quarterly Operations and Maintenance Charges and/or Rents for Calendar Year 2008 At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on October 22°a, 2007. The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the following were present: PRESENT: Supervisor Councilmembers ABSENT: Joseph Ruggiero William H. Beale Joseph P. Paoloni Maureen McCarthy Vincent F. Bettina The following Resolution was introduced by Councilwoman McCarthy and seconded by Councilman Paoloni. WHEREAS, the Town Board annually establishes the budgets for the financing of all Special Improvement Districts and Improvement Areas and the charges to be levied against those properties within said Special Improvement Districts or Special Improvement Areas for each calendar year ensuing; and WHEREAS, the Town Board annually establishes Operation and Maintenance Charges (O&M Charges) and/or Rents for all Water and Sewer Districts and Improvement Areas; and WHEREAS, the Town Board has completed the proposed budgets for the financing for all Special Improvement Districts and Special Improvement Areas in the Town of Wappinger as well as establishing the Quarterly Operation and Maintenance Charges and/or Rents to be levied against those properties within the Special Improvement Districts and Special Improvements Areas; and WHEREAS, the Town Board hereby schedules and orders a Public Hearing for the purposes of hearing and considering any objections which may be made to the aforementioned proposed budgets for the financing of all Special Improvement Districts and Special Improvement Areas for calendar year 2008, and also for hearing and considering any objections to the Quarterly Operation and Maintenance Charges and/or Rents to be levied against those properties connected to the said Special Improvement Districts or Special Improvement Areas for the calendar year 2008. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein. 2. The Town Board hereby confirms that it has completed the proposed budgets for the financing of all Special Improvement Districts and Special Improvement Areas in the Town of Wappinger, as well as the proposed Quarterly Operation and Maintenance Charges and/or Rents to be levied against those properties connected to any of the Special Improvement Districts �lrr or Special Improvement Areas. 3. The Town Board hereby schedules a Public Hearing for the purposes of hearing and considering any objections which maybe made to the proposed budgets for calendar year 2008 for the financing of the various Special Improvement Districts and Special Improvement Areas in the Town as well as the Quarterly Operation and Maintenance Charges and/or Rents to be levied against those properties connected to the various Special Improvement Districts and Special Improvement Areas listed below for the calendar year 2008, said Public Hearing to be held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on the 14th day of November starting at 7:30 p.m. SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICTS/SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT AREAS: Mid -Point Park Sewer District Wildwood Sewer District Watch Hill Sewer District Watch Hill Water District Tall Trees Water Improvement Area Fleetwood Water District Fleetwood Sewer District 4. The Town Clerk is hereby directed to post and publish the Notice of Public Hearing in the form annexed hereto. Said posting and publications are to be made in the Southern Dutchess News and the Poughkeepsie Journal at least ten (10) days prior to the scheduled Public Hearing. The Public Hearing shall be held at the Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York on the 14th day of November at 7:30 p.m. The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows: JOSEPH RUGGIERO, SUPERVISOR Voting: AYE WILLIAM H.
