Resolution Authorizing the Adjustment of Salary for Recreation Employee
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on October
9th, 2007.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilwoman McCarthy and seconded by
Councilman Bettina.
WHEREAS, Stephanie Kovalsky celebrated her one year anniversary on August 141h,
2007; and
WHEREAS, Stephanie Kovalsky currently makes Ten Dollars and 63/100 ($10.63) an
hour out of budget line A-7020.103, and
WHEREAS, Stephanie Kovalsky's salary should be increased by 3% to Ten Dollars and
95/100 ($10.95) an hour; and
WHEREAS, This increase should be applied retroactively to the anniversary date of
August 14th, 2007
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set
forth and adopted herein.
2. Stephanie Kovalsky is approved for a 3 % increase as of her anniversary date of
August 14th, 2007.
3. Stephanie Kovalsky's salary is hereby increased from Ten Dollars and 63/100
($10.63) an hour to Ten Dollars and 95/100 ($10.95) an hour.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

SALARY RAISE FOR STEPHANIE KOVALSKY
Mrs. Kovalsky celebrated her one year employment anniversary on August 14, 2007.
We request that approval be given for an increase in salary and that as a regular part-time
employee she is entitled to and should be granted pro -rated vacation time.
She currently receives $10.63 an hour out of budget line A-7020.103.
We thank you for your support in acquiring a Town Board resolution approving this
action.
