Resolution Authorizing Attendance to New York State GFOA Seminar
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on
September 24th, 2007.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Joseph Ruggiero
Councilmembers - William H. Beale
Vincent F. Bettina
Joseph P. Paoloni
Maureen McCarthy
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilwoman McCarthy and seconded by
Councilman Bettina.
WHEREAS, Jean Gallucci, Comptroller, has requested authorization for Inez
Maldonado and herself to attend the New York State Government Finance Officers' Association
on October 12th, 2007, in Rye, New York, at a cost of Two Hundred Forty Dollars and 00/100
($240.00).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, Jean Gallucci, Comptroller, and Inez
Maldonado are hereby authorized to attend the New York State Government Finance Officers'
Association in Rye, New York, on October 12th, 2007, at a cost not to exceed Two Hundred
Forty Dollars and 00/100 ($240.00).
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

I would like to request authorization for myself and Inez Maldonado to attend the New
York State Government Finance Officers' Association Fall Seminar to be held on
October 12, 2007 in Rye, New York at a cost of $240.00. The topics to be covered will
be "Employee Taxation -Your Questions Answered", "Squeezing Nickels: From Energy
and Health Care to Water and Sewer" and an "Update from the Office of the State
Comptroller",
