Resolution Authorizing a Waiver of 30 -Day Hold Rights for Knights of Columbus Liquor
License Renewal
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on
September 18th, 2007.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor

William H. Beale
Joseph P. Paoloni
Maureen McCarthy
Vincent F. Bettina
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Paoloni and seconded by
Councilwoman McCarthy.
WHEREAS, Knights of Columbus has previously sent a beer/wine license notice to the
Town of Wappinger Town Board: and
WHEREAS, Knights of Columbus is filing an application with the State Liquor
Authority to allow for full on premise liquor under the laws of the aforesaid state agency; and
WHEREAS, Knights of Columbus Corporation has requested that the Town of
Wappinger waive its right to a 30 day hold on their application.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and
adopted herein.
2. The Town of Wappinger hereby waives its rights to a 30 day hold on the Knights of
Columbus Application.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
