RESOLUTION APPOINTING CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS TO
AUDIT THE ACCOUNTS AND REPORTS OF THE SUPERVISOR, TOWN
CLERK, AND TOWN JUSTICES FOR THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER
At the regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New
York, on the 9t' i day of January, 2006, at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor
Councilmember-
ABSENT:
Joseph Ruggiero
Vincent F. Bettina
Joseph P. Paoloni
Maureen McCarthy
The following Resolution was introduced by mg. Mc a thy and seconded by
Mr. Paoloni
BE IT RESOLVED, that James Sedore, Jr., and Company Certified Public
Accountants, be and they are hereby retained to audit the accounts and reports of the
Town Supervisor, Town Clerk, and Town Justices for the year 2006, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said Accountants are hereby further
retained for the purpose of furnishing to the Supervisor, Comptroller and Bookkeeper to
the Supervisor, such additional accounting assistance as may be requested from time to
time, in accordance with proposal submitted to this Town Board, not to exceed the sum
of $23,460, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the said accountants receive said
compensation for all inclusive productive services which they shall render to the Town in
this connection.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
