RESOLUTION CREATING THE POSITION OF DEPUTY ASSESSOR AND
APPOINTING A DEPUTY ASSESSOR
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New
York, on the 9th day of January, 2006, at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor -
Councilmember-
ABSENT:
Joseph Ruggiero
Vincent F. Bettina
Joseph P. Paoloni
Maureen McCarthy .
The following Resolution was introduced by Ms. McCarthy and seconded
by Mr. Paoloni
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to create the new position Deputy Assessor,
and
WHEREAS, the position will pay a salary of Grade D, and
WHEREAS, the duties of the Deputy Assessor will include:
• Compile Reports for the Assessor
• Determine and Evaluate increases
• Determines and Evaluated decreases in the assessment rolls
• Assists with field inspections
• Study market conditions

• Visit properties and estimates values and boundaries
• Assists in preparation of assessment rolls
• Assist in the preparation and filing of annual reports
• Related work
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if
fully set forth and adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby creates the position of Deputy Assessor with job
duties that will include:
3. Compile Reports for the Assessor
4. Determine and Evaluate increases
5. Determines and Evaluated decreases in the assessment rolls
6. Assists with field inspections
7. Study market conditions
8. Visit properties and estimates values and boundaries
9. Assists in preparation of assessment rolls
10. Assist in the preparation and filing of annual reports

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Loretta Brunello is hereby appointed Deputy
Assessor of the Town of Wappinger.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
