RESOLUTION NO. 2005- 3 &
RESOLUTION ADOPTING LOCAL LAW ENTITLED "LOCAL LAW NO. It OF THE
YEAR 2006 AMENDING §234-44.A OF THE TOWN OF WAPPINGER CODE AND
ESTABLISHING THE WATER RATE STRUCTURE FOR THE CENTRAL WATER
SYSTEM FOR THE 2006 CALENDAR YEAR"
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on the 9th _
day of ,January 2006; , at 7:30 p.m.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:

ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Ms. McCarthy and seconded by
Mr. Bettina
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger has determined that it is in the
best interest of the Town to amend §234-44.A of the Town of Wappinger Code to permit water
rate changes to be adopted by Local Law as well as to establish the water rate structure for the
Central Water System for the 2006 calendar year based on the budget adopted by the Town
Board; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Public Hearing was duly advertised in the Southern Dutchess
News, the official newspaper of the Town and the Poughkeepsie Journal; and
