Resolution Establishing Purchase and Procurement Procedures for the Town of Wappinger
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January 6, 2014.
The meeting was called to order by Barbara Gutzler, Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following were present:

Michael Kuzmicz
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Bettina and seconded by Councilman
Beale.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Town Law, the Town Board has previously adopted a budget for
calendar year 2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and
adopted herein.
2. That subject to the provisions of Section 117 of the Town Law, where provisions had
been made in the annual budget for expenditures for the purchase of equipment, supplies or goods, further
approval by the Town Board to authorize the purchase of such equipment, supplies or goods will not be
required provided that such purchases otherwise comply with the Town Procurement Policy as set forth in
Town Code Section 46, as amended.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Town Board permission to seek bids on the purchase of
equipment, supplies or goods pursuant to the aforementioned Town Procurement Policy will not be
required if any item is purchased through State bid or County bid.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
