Resolution Appointing Member to the Town of Wappinger Zoning Board of Appeals
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January
27, 2014.
The meeting was called to order by Barbara Gutzler, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Barbara Gutzler
Councilmembers - William H. Beale
Vincent F. Bettina
Ismay Czarniecki
Michael Kuzmicz
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by
Councilman Bettina.
WHEREAS, by Resolution 2013-30 adopted by the Town Board on January 7, 2013, Thomas
DellaCorte was appointed to the Town of Wappinger Zoning Board of Appeals for a five (5) year term,
which term is due to expire on December 31, 2017; and
WHEREAS, by letter dated December 31, 2013 to the Town Supervisor and Town Board
Members, Thomas DellaCorte has resigned his position as a Member of the Town of Wappinger Zoning
Board of Appeals; and
WHEREAS, Brian C. Rexhouse, Sr., by letter dated January 1, 2014 to the Town Supervisor and
Town Board Members, has requested to be appointed to the position on the Town of Wappinger Zoning
Board of Appeals to fill the vacancy that exists due to the resignation of Thomas DellaCorte.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and
adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby accepts the resignation of Thomas DellaCorte and thanks him
for his dedicated service to the Town of Wappinger Zoning Board of Appeals.
3. The Town Board hereby appoints Brian C. Rexhouse, Sr. as a Member to the Zoning
Board of Appeals to fill the vacancy created by Thomas DellaCorte; said appointment for
the unexpired term of Thomas De1laCorte's, which term will expire on December 31,
2017.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
