Resolution Authorizing Supervisor to Enter Into Separation Agreement
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on
September 19th, 2006.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Joseph Ruggiero
Councilmembers - Robert L. Valdati
Joseph P. Paoloni
Vincent F. Bettina
ABSENT: Maureen McCarthy
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Bettina and seconded by
Councilman Paoloni.
WHEREAS, Mr. Geoff Weaver was employed as an MEO with the Town of Wappinger
Highway Department; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: the Town Board of the Town
of Wappinger authorizes the Town Supervisor to enter into a Separation Agreement and General
Release providing for Mr. Weaver's resignation from the Town of Wappinger Highway
Department, effective August 18th, 2006, in accordance with the material terms and conditions of
the Agreement and Release on file with the Town Clerk's office.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
