Resolution Hiring Seasonal Employees
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on April 14,
2014.
The meeting was called to order by Barbara Gutzler, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor
Councilmembers
- Barbara Gutzler
- William H. Beale
Vincent F. Bettina
Ismay Czarniecki
Michael Kuzmicz
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by
Councilman Bettina.
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger has a need for seasonal employees in the
Recreation Department; and
WHEREAS, the Town has agreed to hire the following four (4) seasonal employees for
the Recreation Department:
A. Joseph Defines;
B. Steven Hickman;
C. Robert Wilson; and
D. Michael Poplees
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth
and adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby authorizes the hiring of four (4) seasonal employees for the
Recreation Department.
3. The seasonal employees will each be paid a total salary of $10,000.00 for the
months employed.
4. The seasonal employees will be paid on a weekly basis, as determined by the
Accountant to the Town, commencing with the week of hire.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
