Resolution Authorizing Stipend To Be Paid To Members Of The Planning Board And Zoning
Board Of Appeals
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on April 14, 2014.
The meeting was called to order by Barbara Gutzler, Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following were present:

ABSENT:

William H. Beale
Vincent F. Bettina
Ismay Czarniecki
Michael Kuzmicz
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilwoman Czarniecki and seconded by
Councilman Bettina.
WHEREAS, Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals Members currently get paid a stipend
of $25.00 per each Planning Board meeting and an additional stipend of $25.00 per day for site visits
regardless of how many sites they visit within that day; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board has agreed to change the stipend paid to the Planning Board and
Zoning Board of Appeals Members from $25.00 per day to $25.00 per site visit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and
adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby authorizes Planning Board and Zoning Board of Appeals
Members to be paid a stipend of $25.00 for each Board meeting they attend and an additional $25.00 per
site visit with the new rate being effective as of April 1, 2014.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
