RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR TOWN
GYMNASTICS PROGRAM
At the regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York, held at Towfi Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New
York, on the 8TH day of March, 2004, at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following were present:

The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. Valdati
Mr. Bettina
and seconded by
WHEREAS, the Recreation Committee has requested a purchase order for the
Town's Boys and Girls Gymnastics Program, and
WHEREAS, the Recreation Committee has requested a purchase order in
the amount of One Thousand, Seven Hundred, Three Dollars and 16/100 ($1,703.16)
payable to the Wappingers Central School District (Myers Corners School).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this resolution as if fully
set forth and adopted herein.
2. A purchase order is hereby authorized in the amount One Thousand,
Seven Hundred, Three Dollars and 16/100 ($1,703.16) payable to the
Wappingers Central School District (Myers Corners School) payable
from Account A-7110.4, in accordance with a letter dated February 18,
2004 from Peggy Roe, Recreation Secretary to the Town Board.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

RE: REQUEST FOR P.O.
The Recreation Committee requests permission to obtain a P.O. payable to
the Wappinger Central School District (Myers Corners School) in the amount of
$1,703.16. This is for the use of their facilities for the Saturday morning boys and girls
gymnastics program which runs from January 3, 2004 to May 8, 2004. The funds for this
are in recreation account A-7110.4.
19 sessions @ 3 hours = 57 hours
57 hours @ $29.88 = $1,703.16

RE: REQUEST FOR P.O.
The Recreation Committee requests permission to obtain a P.O. in the
amount of $2,500.00 payable to Legion Fireworks for a display to be held on April 17,
2004 at the Little League Opening Day program. This will be in conjunction with the
lighting of the fields at Robinson Lane. The rain date for this will be April 18, 2004.
The funds for this display will come from the Town Special Events A-7550.40.
