RESOLUTION NO. 2004-223
RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR TOWN
RECREATION TO REPAIR ROOF AT SCHLATHAUS PARK
At the regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New
York, on the 28' June, at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Paoloni, Acting Supervisor, and upon
roll being called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Councilmember- Robert L. Valdati
Vincent F. Bettina
Joseph P. Paoloni
Maureen McCarthy
ABSENT: Supervisor- Joseph Ruggiero
The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. Valdati and seconded by
Mr. Bettina
WHEREAS, the recreation committee has requested a purchase order for
replacing the roof on the garage at Schlathaus Park with new shingles, and
WHEREAS, the recreation Commission received bids as follows:
Bracaden Construction $2025.00
O'Dell Painting $2,360.00
P.J. Exteriors, Inc. $2,400.00
WHEREAS, the Recreation Committee has requested a purchase order in the
amount of Two Thousand Twenty Five and 00/100 ($2,025.00) payable to Bracaden
Construction.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this resolution as if fully
set forth and adopted herein.
2. A purchase order is hereby authorized in the amount of Two Thousand
Twenty Five dollars and 00/100 ($2,025.00) payable to Bracaden
Construction. from Account A-7110.4, in accordance with a letter dated
June 28, 2004 from Ralph Holt, Recreation Chairman to the Town Board.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

The Recreation Committee requests permission to obtain a P.O. in the
amount of $2,025.00 payable to Bracaden Construction for materials and labor to remove
old roof on garage at Schlathaus and replace with new shingles. All debris will be
removed.
