RESOLUTION NO. 2002
AMENDMENT ON THE LIMITS AND PROCED RES TO PROCUREMENT POLICY
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on the 2Rth
day of _L jn a ry , 2002, at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:

The following resolution was introduced by Councilman Valdati and seconded
WHEREAS, the Town Board has previously adopted a Procurement Policy pursuant to
§ 104-b of the General Municipal Law; and
WHEREAS, § 104-b of the General Municipal Law requires the Town to annually
review the procedures established for the purchasing of goods and services that fall below the
money bid limits set forth in General Municipal Law; and
WHEREAS, the Town Comptroller and other department heads of the Town have
recommended that the bid limits be amended upward.

NOW, THEREFORE, the Town Board hereby introduces for adoption Local Law No.
of the Year 2002 in the form annexed hereto, amending and modifying the bid limits and
procedure of the Town Procurement Policy.
The Town Board hereby determines that the proposed action, that is the introduction of
the aforementioned Local Law amending the Town Procurement Policy is a Type II action as
defined in 6 NYCRR 617.5(c)(16) and, accordingly, the Town Board hereby expressly
determines that this action is not an action that requires review pursuant to the provisions of the
New York State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) or pursuant to Local Law 6 of
1992, or pursuant to 6 NYCRR Part 617.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Board hereby schedules a Public
Hearing on the proposed adoption of Local Law # of 2002 to be held at the Town Hall, 20
Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on the 25th day of Eebrua; 9002 at 7 : 30
P.M., and that the Town Clerk be directed to post and publish a Notice of Public Hearing in the
form annexed hereto.
