RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE PAYMENT FOR COMMUNITY DAY FIREWORKS
The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. Colsey and seconded by
Mr. Valdati
WHEREAS, the Recreation Committee desires to hire Legion Fireworks Co., Inc. for a
firework display on Community Day to be held on September 8, 2002, with a rain date of
September 15, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, payment is approved in the amount of Two
Thousand, Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($2,250.00) made payable to Legion Fireworks Co.,
Inc. from Recreation Account No. A-7140.4 for a fireworks display on Community Day to be
held on September 8, 2002, with a rain date of September 15, 2002, in accordance with the letter
dated April 8, 2002 from Ralph J. Holt, Chairman of the Recreation Committee to the Town of
Wappinger, to Town Board Members.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

ROBERT L. VALDATI, Councilman Voting Aye
VINCENT F. BETTINA, Councilman Voting Aye

amount of $2,250 for the fireworks for Community Day in September. Please
