2002-292RESOLUTION NO. 2002-292 RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR YOUTH GRANT APPLICATION At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on the 28th day of October, 2002, at 7:30 P.M. The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the following were present: PRESENT: Supervisor - Councilmen ABSENT: Joseph Ruggiero Robert L. Valdati Joseph P. Paoloni Christopher J. Colsey Vincent Bettina The following Resolution was introduced by m, pa,,..q- and seconded by Mr. Valdati WHEREAS, the Town Board determines it is in the best interest of the Town to make application to the Dutchess County Youth Board for a Youth Development/Delinquency Prevention Grant for the calendar year 2003, a copy of which application is appended to the these minutes; and WHEREAS, the Town Board agrees to disburse the grant funds and to provide the services as itemized and identified in the application. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein. C:\DOCUME-1\Gina\LOCALS-1\TempXYouthBoard2.doc 1 2. The Town Supervisor is hereby authorized to make application to the Dutchess County Youth Board in the form of application attached hereto. 3. The Town Board hereby adopts the representations, terms and conditions contained in the application submitted to the Dutchess County Youth Board (code number 03132710R033) and hereby approves the Projects described in the Youth Development Delinquency Prevention application on file with the New York State Division for Youth and the Dutchess County Youth Board. 4. By accepting the grant monies the Town hereby agrees to the following: e That the Town of Wappinger will abide by the OCFS as to the propriety of all expenditures upon which state aid is requested; e The project will be operated in compliance with the laws, rules, regulations, resolutions, and codes of the State of New York and pertinent political subdivisions; e No youth will be denied the services or facilities of this project because of race, creed, color or sex; and e No fee will be charged for the program supported by State funds.
