RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INCREASE IN TOWN RECREATION FEES
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on the 24h
day of February, 2003, at 7:30 P.M
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following were present:

The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. colsey and seconded by
Supervisor Ruggiero
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Recreation Committee has previously charged a
fee of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) for all "A Fund" recreation programs (including gymnastics,
aerobics, basketball, volleyball, tennis and related recreational programs) offered by the Town of
Wappinger; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Recreation Committee has requested an increase in
fees for the aforesaid recreation programs in order to offset the costs to pay the directors that run
said programs as discussed in correspondence dated January 22, 2003 to Supervisor Joseph
Ruggiero, a copy of which is affixed hereto; and

WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Recreation Committee has additionally requested
an increase in fees for the `B Fund" Summer Playground Program for the year 2003 in order to
ensure payment for all costs for the summer program as outlined in correspondence dated
February 6, 2003 to Supervisor Joseph Ruggiero, a copy of which is affixed hereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set
forth and adopted herein.
2. The Town Board approves the request of the Town of Wappinger Recreation
Committee to increase all "A Fund" recreation program fees for the year 2003 from $15 for the
first family member participating in the program and $10 for each additional participating family
member to $20 for the first family member participating in the program and $15 for each
additional participating family member.
3. The Town Board also approves increasing the `B Fund" Summer Playground
Program fees for the year 2003 from $30 for the first child of a family participating in the
program and $20 for each additional child of the same family participating in the program to $40
for the first child of a family participating in the program and $35 for each additional child of the
same family participating in the program.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
