RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR SNOW PLOW
FOR RECREATION TRUCK
At the regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New
York, on the 27TH day of October, 2003, at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following were present:

The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. Bettina and seconded by
Mr. Valdati
WHEREAS, the Recreation Committee has recommended the purchase of a
snow plow for their truck to assist in snow removal at the various parks; and
WHEREAS, the Recreation Commission received bids as follows:
Hudson River Truck and Trailer $3,050
Hoselton Chervrolet $3,199
King Truck Equipment Not Available
WHEREAS, the Recreation Committee has requested a purchase order in the
amount of Three Thousand, Fifty Dollars ($3,050.00) payable to Hudson River Truck and
Trailer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:

1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this resolution as if fully
set forth and adopted herein.
2. A purchase order is hereby authorized in the amount of Three Thousand,
Fifty Dollars ($3,050.00) payable to Hudson River Truck and Trailer from
Capital Equipment HMM7110.2, in accordance with a letter dated October
16, 2003 from Ralph Holt, Recreation Chairman, to the Town Board.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

In the Spring, the Recreation Committee purchased a 2003 4 -wheel drive
Chevy Silverado Pick up truck. We would now like to purchase a plow for this truck to
be able to plow the various recreation areas. We would like permission to obtain a P.O.
in the amount of $3,050.00 payable to Hudson River Truck & Trailer for the purchase of
a 8' Fisher Snowplow.
The following are the quotes received:
Hudson River Truck & Trailer $3,050.00
Hoselton Chevrolet $3,199.00
King Truck Equipment Only carry Boss Plows
The funds for this are to come from Capital Equipment HMM7110.2.
