RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR REFIGERATORS
FOR TOWN CAMPS
At the regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess
County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New
York, on the 8TH day of December, 2003, at 7:30 P.M.
The meeting was called to order by Joseph Ruggiero, Supervisor, and upon roll
being called, the following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Joseph Ruggiero
Councilmen - Robert L. Valdati
Vincent F. Bettina
Joseph P. Paoloni
Christopher J. Colsey
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Mr. Valdati
and seconded by
Mr. Bettina
WHEREAS, the Recreation Committee has recommended the purchase of four
new refrigerators for the Town Camps, and
WHEREAS, the Recreation Commission received bids as follows:
Statewide $2,540.00
Home Depot Not Available
Lowes Not Available
WHEREAS, the Recreation Committee has requested a purchase order in the
amount of Two Thousand, Five Hundred Forty Dollars ($2,540.00) payable to Statewide
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this resolution as if fully
set forth and adopted herein.
2. A purchase order is hereby authorized in the amount of TwoThousand,
Five Hundred Fourty Dollars ($2,540.00) payable to Statewide from
Account B-7310.4, in accordance with a letter dated November 21, 2003
from Ralph Holt, Recreation Chairman, to the Town Board.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:

The Recreation Committee requests permission to obtain a P.O. in the
amount of $2,540.00 payable to Statewide. We are continually trying to update our
summer camps and the purchase of 17.3 cu ft. refrigerators for the 4 playgrounds will be
invaluable to store lunches and water. We have gone to Home Depot and Lowe's for just
a refrigerator and none have them without freezers. We will use unspent funds from the
B-7310.4 account for this purchase.
