Resolution Endorsing the Application for a Gran/for Wappinger Greenway Improved Signage
Initiative
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,New
York,held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road,Wappingers Falls,New York, on August 11, 2014.
The meeting was called to order by Barbara Gutzler, Supervisor, and upon roll being called,the
following were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Barbara Gutzler
Councilmembers - William H.Beale
Vincent F. Bettina
Ismay Czamiecki
Michael Kuzmicz
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by Councilman
Bettina.
WHEREAS,the Village of Wappingers Falls is applying to the Hudson River Valley Greemvay
for a grant under the 2014 Greenway Conservancy Trail Grant Program for a project entitled Wappinger
Greenway Improved Signage Initiative to be located in the Village of Wappingers Falls and the Town of
Wappinger.
WHEREAS,the grant application requires the applicant municipality to obtain the
approval/endorsement of the governing body of the municipality or municipalities in which the project
will be located;
NOW,THEREFORE,be it resolved that the goveming board of the Town of Wappinger hereby
does approve and endorse the application for a grant under the 2014 Greenway Conservancy Small Grant
Program, for a project known as Wappinger Greenway Improved Signage Initiative and located within
this community.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
