Resolution Authorizing Change Order No. 1 For United Wappinger Water District Route 9
Water Main Loop
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at
Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on June 23, 2014.
The meeting was called to order by Barbara Gutzler, Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the following
were present:
PRESENT: Supervisor - Barbara Gutzler
Councilmembers - William H. Beale
Vincent F. Bettina
Ismay Czarniecki
Michael Kuzmicz(Arrived at 8:17PM)
ABSENT:
The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Bettina and seconded by Councilman Beale.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2014-137 adopted by the Town Board on April 28, 2014, the Town Board
awarded a bid to Bibeau Construction Co., Inc. in the amount of $ l ,159,150.00 for the work required for the Route 9
Water Main Loop improvements; and
WHEREAS, Morris Associates Engineering Consultants, PLLC, Engineers for the Town, has approved
Change Order No. 1 to the Contract dated June 9, 2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted
herein.
2. The Town Board hereby approves Change Order No. 1, dated June 9, 2014, in the amount of
Seven Hundred Ninety-One 20/100 Dollars ($791.20), resulting in an increase in the contract sum
to be paid to Bibeau Construction Co., Inc. to the total sum of One Million One Hundred Fifty-Nine
Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-One 20/100 Dollars ($1,159,941.20) in connection with the United
Wappinger Water District Route 9 Water Main Loop Improvements Contract for the reasons set forth
in the above mentioned Change Order No. 1, a copy of which is affixed hereto.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
