Resolution To Adjust Town Of Wappinger Mileage Reimbursement Rates For 2015
At a regular meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January 5,
2015.
The meeting was called to order by Barbara Gutzler, Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Bettina and seconded by
Councilman Kuzmicz.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Town Law §116(1), the Town of Wappinger compensates
employees for the use of the employee's personal vehicle whenever the employee utilizes such
personal vehicle for Town business; and
WHEREAS, the Internal Revenue Service has established the allowable reimbursement
rate for 2015 at the rate of$0.575 per mile for business miles driven.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set
forth and adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby establishes and authorizes the allowable mileage
reimbursement rate to a Town employee at $0.575 per mile for business miles driven whenever a
Town employee uses his/her personal vehicle for Town business, effective January 1, 2015.
This rate shall remain in effect until modified by further Town Board Resolution.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
