Resolution Awarding Bid For Martz Field Paving Improvements
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls,New York, on
September 29, 2015.
The meeting was called to order by Barbara Gutzler, Supervisor, and upon roll being

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by
Councilman Ciccarelli.
WHEREAS, Steve Frazier, Town of Wappinger Supervisor of Buildings&Grounds solicited
written quotes for required paving at Martz Field pursuant to the Town's Procurement Policy; and
WHEREAS,the following bid quotes were received:
Company Total
Blacktop Maintenance Corp. (BTM) $7,104.00
Avello Brothers Contractors,Inc. $3,850.00
WHEREAS,by email dated August 21,2015 from Steve Frazier, it has been determined that the
lowest responsible bid quote is from Avello Brothers Contractors,Inc.with a bid quote in the amount of
$3,850.00.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and
adopted herein.
2. The Town of Wappinger hereby awards the bid for the paving of Martz Field to Avello
Brothers Contractors,Inc. in the bid amount of$3,850.00.
3. The cost of the paving is considered a complete replacement which qualifies as a capital
improvement to be funded from the Parkland Trust Funds.
The Town Board hereby authorizes the Supervisor of Buildings&Grounds and the Supervisor to prepare
a voucher for payment to Avello Brothers Contractors,Inc. and further authorizes the Supervisor of
Buildings & Grounds to notify Avello Brothers Contractors,Inc.to proceed with the work in accordance
with the.bid quote.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
