Resolution Awarding Bid For Replacement Of Security Doors For The Martz Field
Storage/Restroom Building
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger,Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls,New York, on
September 29, 2015.

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by
Councilman Beale.
WHEREAS, Steve Frazier, Town of Wappinger Supervisor of Buildings&Grounds solicited
written quotes for the replacement of the security doors for the Martz Field Storage/Restroom Building
pursuant to the Town's Procurement Policy; and
WHEREAS,the following bid quotes were received:
Company Total
Dutchess Overhead Doors $3,672.00
The Torrington Overhead Door Co.,Inc. $4,188.00 .
WHEREAS,by email dated September 14, 2015 from Steve Frazier, it has been determined that
the lowest responsible bid quote is from Dutchess Overhead Door with a bid quote in the amount of
$3,672.00.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED,as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and
adopted herein.
2. The Town of Wappinger hereby awards the bid for the replacement of the security doors
for the Martz Field Storage/Restroom Building to Dutchess Overhead Doors in the bid amount of
$3,672.00.
3. The cost of the replacement of the security doors meets the requirements of the
Procurement Policy and funding is to be made from Parks Contingency(7110.0239).
The Town Board hereby authorizes the Supervisor of Buildings&Grounds and the Supervisor to prepare
a voucher for payment to Dutchess Overhead Doors and further authorizes the Supervisor of Buildings &
Grounds to notify Dutchess Overhead Doors to proceed with the work in accordance with the bid quote.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
