Resolution Authorizing The Submission Of The 2017 Community Development Block Grant Application
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on October 11, 2016.
The meeting was called to order by Lori A. Jiava, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Fenton and seconded by Councilman
Ciccarelli.
WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger is participating in the 2017 Dutchess County Community
Development Block Grant Consortium; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board conducted a public hearing on October 11, 2016 to receive input from
citizens and groups regarding the Dutchess County Community Development Block Grant; and
WHEREAS, an application has been prepared in accordance with the concerns of our community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted
herein.
2. The Town Board hereby approves the 2017 application to the Dutchess County Community
Development Block Grant Program for the Town of Wappinger, including the certifications therein.
The Town Board hereby authorizes the submission of the application to the Dutchess County Department of
Planning and Development.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
