Authorizing Highway Superintendent To Advertise For Bids For Various Highway Supplies/Materials
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 23, 2016.

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Ciccarelli and seconded by Councilman
Kuzmicz.
WHEREAS, by memo dated May 17, 2016, Highway Superintendent, Vincent Bettina, has requested
authorization to go out to bid for various supplies/materials to be used by the Town of Wappinger Highway
Department in calendar year 2016; and
WHEREAS, the solicitation for bids shall include such items as catch basins, grates and frames,
manhole lids and water valve risers and other parts and materials used by the Highway Department for the
maintenance and repair of Town roads and drainage systems.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and
adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby authorizes Highway Superintendent, Vincent Bettina, to solicit bids for
various supplies/materials needed by the Town of Wappinger Highway Department for calendar year 2016 as
above-described
