Resolution Appointing Deputy Fire Inspector
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January
25, 2016.
The meeting was called to order by Lori A. Jiava, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by
Councilman Ciccarelli.
WHEREAS, the Town Board has decided to create the position of Deputy Fire Inspector
to assist the Fire Inspector in his daily tasks in enforcing the various provisions of the Uniform
Code and various Chapters of the Town of Wappinger Code; and
WHEREAS, the Deputy Fire Inspector shall serve at the pleasure of the Town Board and
work under the supervision of the Fire Inspector.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set
forth and adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby appoints Tyler Petit to the position of Deputy Fire
Inspector effective February 1, 2016.
Tyler Petit shall work a maximum of 17.5 hours per week and shall be paid at the rate of$16.50
per hour.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
