Resolution Authorizing Purchase Of Sheds For Town Hall And Schlathaus Park
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on
November 28, 2016.
The meeting was called to order by Lori A. Jiava, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Fenton and seconded by
Councilman Kuzmicz.
WHEREAS, the Town Board had requested Steven Frazier, Supervisor of Buildings &
Grounds, to solicit quotes for two sheds, one 10' x 14' shed to be located at Town Hall and one
12' x' 22' shed to be located at Schlathaus Park, in accordance with the Procurement Policy; and
WHEREAS, the following quotes were received for the 10' x 14' shed to be located at
Town Hall:

Martin's Country Craftsmen & Barns, Pawling, NY $3,450.00
Bay Horse, LLC, Red Hook, NY $3,901.55
WHEREAS, the following quotes were received for the 12' x 22' shed to be located at
Schlathaus Park:
Company Proposal
Martin's Country Craftsman & Barns, Pawling, NY $4,865.00
Bay Horse, LLC, Red Hook, NY $5,571.00
WHEREAS, by email dated November 21, 2016, Supervisor of Buildings & Grounds,
has determined and recommended that the lowest quote for both sheds is from Martin's Country
Craftsman & Barns, Pawling, NY, with a quote in the amount of $3,450.00 for the 10' x' 14'
shed to be located at Town Hall and a quote in the amount of$4,865.00 for the 12' x 22' shed to
be located at Schlathaus Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth
and adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby authorizes the Supervisor of Buildings & Grounds to
purchase a 10' x 14' shed to be located at Town Hall in the amount of$3,450.00 from Martin's
Country Craftsman & Barns, Pawling, NY.
3. The Town Board hereby further authorizes the Supervisor of Building & Grounds
to purchase a 12' x 22' shed to be located at Schlathaus Park in the amount of$4,865.00 from
Martin's Country Craftsman & Barns, Pawling, NY.
4. The cost of the 10' x 14' shed to be located at Town Hall in the amount of
$3,450.00 is to be paid out of budget line A1620.0450 and the cost of the 12' x 22' shed to be
located at Schlathaus Park in the amount of $4,865.00 is to be paid out of the Parkland Trust
Fund.
Steven Frazier is directed to submit purchase orders for the purchase of the aforementioned
sheds.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
