Resolution Establishiing Remuneration For Water Meter Readers In The Town Of
Wappinger
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County,
New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January 9,
2017.
The meeting was called to order by Lori A. Jiava, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being
called, the following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by
Councilman Ciccarelli.
BE IT RESOLVED, that for calendar year 2017, the remuneration for Town of
Wappinger Water Meter Reader Meters is hereby established at the rate of$1.30 per meter read,
until further action of the Town Board; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that payment to the Water Meter Reader shall be in
accordance with the number of water meters read and the Town Supervisor is authorized and
empowered to pay the Water Meter Reader upon proof of the number of water meters read as
confirmed by the Town Accountant.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
