2017-56 2017-56 Resolution Appointing Full Time Employee To The Buildings And Grounds Department At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on January 9, 2017. The meeting was called to order by Lori A. WHEREAS, Thomas Johnson was hired as a full-time employee in the Town of Wappinger Buildings and Grounds Department; and WHEREAS, Christopher Brewer was hired as a seasonal employee in the Town of Wappinger Buildings and Grounds Department; and WHEREAS, Thomas Johnson has requested to become a seasonal employee, leaving a vacancy in the full-time position in the Town of Wappinger Buildings and Grounds Department; and WHEREAS, Steven Frazier, Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds, has made a request to the Town Board to appoint Christopher Brewer as a full-time employee to fill the vacancy caused by Thomas Johnson's request to become a seasonal employee in the Town of Wappinger Buildings and Grounds Department. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein. 2. The Town Board hereby appoints Christopher Brewer as a full-time employee in the Town of Wappinger Buildings and Grounds Department at an hourly rate of $12.64, with benefits as offered by the Town, with his hourly work week set at 35 hours per week, retroactive to January 1, 2017. 3. The Town Board hereby further confirms that Thomas Johnson will be appointed as a seasonal employee in the Town of Wappinger Buildings and Grounds Department.
