2017-71 2017-71 Resolution to Execute Contracts for the Town Recreation Department Summer Concert Series At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on February 27, 2017. The meeting was called to order by Lori A. WHEREAS, the Town of Wappinger Recreation Department has submitted six contracts for consideration by the Town Board relative to the 2016 Summer Concert Series, copies of which are affixed hereto; and WHEREAS, the proposed contracts are as follows: Date Performer Cost 07/6/2016 Hurley Mountain Highway $500 07/13/2017 Midnite Image Band $480 07/20/2017 Matt Jordan Pop Oldies Band $525 07/27/2017 Cloud 9 $600 08/3/2017 Southern Dutchess Concert Band $500 08/10/2017 Cruise Control $500 08/17/2017 Bill's Toupee $750 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: 1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein. 2. The Town Board hereby approves the performers and the costs associated with each performer and authorizes Supervisor Lori A. Jiava to sign the contracts on behalf of the Town and forward a copy of the contracts to the respective performer for signature.
