Resolution Authorizing Budget Amendment To Cover Cost Of Schlathaus Park Roof Repair
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 8, 2017.

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by Councilman
Ciccarelli.
WHEREAS, Town Comptroller, Fredrick Awino, by email dated May 3, 2017, to Town
Supervisor, Lori A. Jiava, a copy of which is affixed hereto, requested budget amendments between
various line items to reflect the receipt of insurance proceeds in consequence of damages to the roof of a
building located at Schlathaus Park, which was covered by insurance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
I. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and
adopted herein.
2. The Town Board hereby authorizes the following budget line increases:
a. an increase in the additional revenue to budget line A.0000.2680 Insurance
Recoveries in the amount of$5,849.00 resulting from damages to the building located at Schlathaus
Park, which was covered by insurance; and
b. an increase in the additional expenditure to budget line A.7110.424 Schlathaus Park in
the amount of$5,849.00 to cover the cost of repair to the building at Schlathaus Park.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
