Resolution Appointing Part-Time Deputy Fire Inspector
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New
York, held at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 22, 2017.
The meeting was called to order by Lori A. Jiava, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called,
the following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by Councilman
Ciccarelli.
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger has previously created the position of
part-time Deputy Fire Inspector and such position is now current; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board is satisfied that Anthony Marquez is qualified for the position of
part-time Deputy Fire Inspector.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board appoints Anthony Marquez
to the position of part-time Deputy Fire Inspector at the pay rate of$17.50 per hour; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Mr. Marquez's employment shall be subject to all terms
and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement between the Town of Wappinger and Teamsters
Loca1445; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor, or her designee, is authorized to
complete and file with the Dutchess County Department of Human Resources all paperwork required by
that office in connection with this appointment.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
