Resolution Appointing Part-Time Account Clerk
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 22, 2017.
The meeting was called to order by Lori A. Jiava, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by Councilman Beale.
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger has previously created the position of part-
time Account Clerk and such position is now current; and
WHEREAS, the Town Board is satisfied that Debra Brown is qualified for the position of part-time
Account Clerk.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board appoints Debra Brown to the
position of part-time Account Clerk effective retroactively May 11, 2017; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Debra Brown shall be paid at the pay rate of $25.00 per hour;
and
BE IT FURTHER REVOLVED, that the term of this appointment shall not exceed 90 days from the
start of Ms. Brown's employment; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all terms and conditions of Ms. Brown's employment shall be
governed by the Employee Handbook; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Supervisor, or her designee, is authorized to complete
and file with The Dutchess County Department of Human Resources all paperwork required by that office in
connection with this appointment.
