Craft Fair and Bike Run Donna Lehnhart and Joseph Cavaccini approached the board to discuss the Craft Fair an Bike Run that they had proposed. The Craft Fair happens every November in four locations and they were thinking of adding town hall as a craft fair location. The board agreed to schedule the craft fair at town hall run from 9 AM to 2 PM with the Veteran's day ceremony starting at 2 PM. They also proposed a bicycle parade starting at Schlathaus park and continuing along Old Myers Corners Road. The plan was for childraen an adults to to decorate their bicycle for a chance to win a prize as best bike and then offer a free picnic afterwards. Donations would cover the cost of the picnic with the town paying for the prize. 2. Mission and Vision Statement Discussion moved to the next meeting. 3. Motion To: Highway Annual Bid Request The Supervisor asked to have the bids put into the correspondence log. RESULT: ADOPTED [UNANIMOUS] MOVER: John J. Motion To: Allow Supervisor to sign for Easement Leases with County For Work being done on County Route 28 Supervisor Jiava asked the board to allow her to sign for leases that the county receives from us regarding the necessary easement for the work being done on County Route 28, Old Hopewell Road. Beale Boat Ramp 2nd Dock Councilman Ciccarelli asked about the status of the installation of the second boat dock at the Chelsea Boat Launch. He cited a previous discussion regarding replacing an anchor bolt into the concrete to replace the one that has torn away. He cited a similar fix that the Chelsea Yacht Club used and asked buildings and Grounds personnel and Engineer Gray to look into the technology to get that second dock floatation dock back in service as it serves as a necessary secondary loading and unloading platform to serve to flow of activity at the launch. A discussion was scheduled for next meeting. 3. Roof Leak Councilman Ciccarelli asked about the recent roof ice jam and the accompanying leaks that ensued. He asked if they have been taken care or if preventive measures were put in place. Steve Frazier suggested heat cables that he intended to install. 4. Additional Personnel to Open and Close Parks; and, identify Property Maintenance Issues The board discussed the possibility to hire someone to open and close all the town parks; and, to check for property maintenance issues throughout the town given the new property maintenance law.
