Resolution Appointing Labor and Employment Counsel to the Town of Wappinger
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on May 9, 2016.
The meeting was called to order by Lori A. Jiava, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Kuzmicz and seconded by Councilman Beale.
Whereas on January 4th, 2016, the Town Board, during its reorganization meeting, adopted Resolution 2016-40
appointing the law firm, Iseman, Cunningham, Riester and Hyde LLP ("ICRH"), as labor and employment
counsel to the Town of Wappinger.
Whereas, David R. Wise, Esq. of"ICRH" is the primary attorney handling labor and employment matters and
Whereas effective May 9th, 2016, Mr. Wise will be a principal in the firm of Mackey, Butts, and Wise LLP
("MB W") and
Whereas the Town Board will rescind resolution 2016-40, from January 4th, 2016 and appoint "MBW" as labor
and employment counsel to the Town of Wappinger.
Now be it further resolved that Mackey, Butts and Wise, LLP is appointed labor and employment counsel to the
Town of Wappinger and
Be it further resolved that the Town Supervisor, Lori Jiava, is authorized to execute any documentation
consistent to the actions within this resolution.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
