Recreation Budget Director Fulton discussed the individual line items in each of the recreation budget line items which included preliminary estimates in line items in both general funds such as celebrations, field trips, etc... As the estimates are subject to change, the details are available in the online video. Recreation Chairman Holt asked about the community day budget. Supervisor Jiava asked Director Fulton to provide a detailed cost analysis of community day for the November 13th meeting. Buildings and Grounds Steve Frazier appeared before the board to discuss his budget. He said that the only change he has is ina"dot 4l9line". He added that he had asked for $12,000 but was reduced to $10,000, but actual expenses are closer to $14,000 over the last few years. Mr. Frazier provided no documents to the Town Clerk. Supervisor Jiava suggested transferring $2,000 from the 400 line Town of Wappinger Page 4 Printed 1012312017 Regular Meeting Minutes October 10, 2017 item to get him to the $12,000 that he originally asked for. 3. Code Enforcement Zoning Administrator Roberti appeared to discuss Fire, Building, Zoning, and planning. The only change was a Deputy Fire Inspector and his vehicle. Supervisor Jiava suggested using the Impala which is currently being used as a'floating-use' vehicle. With regards to the Building department, she also spoke of a full time property maintenance person. She asked for a change in the ZBA stipend from $40 per day to $30 per visit. Councilman Beale asked for a report outlining the policy. Ms. Roberti promised the report by the end of the current week. IX. Resolutions RESOLUTION: 2017-159 Resolution Authorizing Transfer Of Funds WHEREAS, Superintendent of Highways, Vincent Bettina, has requested a transfer of funds to cover costs associated with the removal of brush, weeds and trees. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein. 2. Wolfson and Heather L. Kitchen, and Justice Court Chief Clerk, Cheryl Hait, have recommended an application for such grant be made; and Town of Wappinger Page 5 Printed 10/23/2017 Regular Meeting Minutes October 10, 2017 WHEREAS, Town Justices, Carl S. Wolfson and Heather L. Kitchen, and Justice Court Chief Clerk, Cheryl Hait have prepared an application to the Justice Court Assistance Program Grant in the form attached hereto; and WHEREAS, the application is required to be submitted to the New York State Office of Court Administration by October 12, 2017. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: I. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein. 2. The Town Board hereby authorizes an application to be made on behalf of the Town of Wappinger Justice Court pursuant to the Justice Court Assistance Program for a Grant as set forth in the copy of the attached application for said Grant. Box 367, Slate Hill, New York 10973, in the proposed amount of $132,218. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows: 1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted herein. 2. The Town of Wappinger hereby awards the bid for the Tall Trees Interconnection to the United Wappinger Water District to Boyce Excavating Company, Inc., 2817 Route 6, P.O.
