RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NOS. 1 & 2 FOR THE EMERGENCY SERVICES
BUILDING RENOVATION PROJECT GENERAL CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT NO. 17-003G
At a Regular Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Wappinger, Dutchess County, New York, held
at Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Road, Wappingers Falls, New York, on December 27, 2017.
The meeting was called to order by Lori A. Jiava, Town Supervisor, and upon roll being called, the
following was recorded:

The following Resolution was introduced by Councilman Beale and seconded by Councilman Ciccarelli.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 2017-165 adopted by the Town Board on October 10, 2017, the Town
Board awarded a bid to J.C. Millbank Construction Co., Inc. (General Construction Contract) in the amount of
$563,500 for renovations to be made to the Emergency Services Building; and
WHEREAS, J.C. Millbank Construction Co., Inc. and the Town entered into a formal written contract
dated November 8, 2017 pursuant to said bid; and
WHEREAS, the Engineers to the Town, Morris Associates Engineering & Surveying Consultants,
PLLC, have approved two Change Orders to the aforesaid contract, which results in a new contract price in the
amount of$637,531.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as follows:
1. The recitations above set forth are incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth and adopted
herein.
2. The Town Board hereby approves Change Order No. 1 which increases the contract price by the
amount of$58,976, resulting in a new contract price of$622,476, a copy of which Change Order is attached
hereto.
The Town Board hereby further approves Change Order No. 2 which further increases the contract price by the
amount of$15,055, resulting in a new contract price of$637,531, a copy of which Change Order is also
attached hereto.
The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows:
